Tena Williams was born in Mandeville Manchester Jamaica West Indies. She attended Capitol Community Technical College where she received her Associates in Science degree in business administration. She attended Central Connecticut State University where she majored in Accounting. Tena Williams worked for many corporations from United Healthcare, to United Technologies and The Town of Bloomfield, CT in finance. Tena Williams had a passion for helping people and was inspired to launch the Finding Peace Campaign Corporation to help people in need of food, clothing, shelter, counseling, education and more. Tena Williams have donated food to Manchester Area Conference of Churches homeless shelter in Manchester, CT, Town of Windsor, CT, Town of South Windsor, CT food pantry, and other CT organizations to feed the hungry. Tena Williams also donated to the Town of Bloomfield back to school drive and other Greater Hartford students. Tena Williams has also raised funds through the sale of her book Finding Peace after a life of sexual, mental and physical abuse to help with the treatment cost of a New York resident that had stage 4 breast cancer. Tena Williams has also helped to raise funds to help a domestic violence victim’s family with funeral costs. Tena Williams has launched her radio network the Lady Flava Radio Network on www.ladyflava.com to help music artists, authors, actors, models and people from different walks of life with promoting their crafts. Tena Williams and the staff of the Finding Peace Campaign will continue on their journey to help people in need.
